		What it does

## From measurement to delivery, in one place.

Purpose-built for how a tailoring business actually operates.

### Measurements by voice or sketch

Dictate measurements while the tape is still on the customer, tap them in, or draw an alteration straight onto a labelled technical drawing. Six garment types out of the box, each with its own measurement set.

### Three screens to take an order

Customer, garment, price. A new receptionist takes their first order without being taught, and the measurement profile is waiting the next time that customer comes in.

### Job cards through production

Every garment moves on its own job card, so a family ordering together gets one bill and separate cards underneath. Overdue work sits against whoever holds it, at the stage it stalled.

### Fabric variance

Metres estimated at intake against metres actually cut, per fabric and per month. That gap is the part of the margin that usually disappears without anyone writing it down.

### Performance by garment

Average cycle time and on-time rate per tailor and per garment type, because a tailor quick on kanduras is not automatically quick on suits.

### The counter takes the money

The receptionist raises the invoice, takes the deposit and collects the balance without an accounting login, and without seeing margin, cost per metre or anyone else’s performance.

				Why it matters

## Every order accounted for, from the fitting to the final payment.

No lost measurement slips, no whiteboard production board, no guessing which order is where. One system the whole shop works from.

					- Measurements recalled per customer

					- Live production stage on every order

					- Invoicing connected to the books

		How it works

## Tailoring ERP software built for UAE tailors.

Tailorline keeps a tailoring business running from the first fitting to the final payment, in one connected system. We built it with a working UAE tailoring house, so it fits how a real shop operates rather than forcing a generic retail tool to do the job.

### What it keeps in one place

				- A full measurement profile for every customer, ready on the next order

				- Every order, garment, fabric and style option, from fitting to delivery

				- A live production view of what is cut, stitched, at finishing or ready

				- Quotes, invoices and payments, connected to your accounting

		Built on Odoo

## More than a tailoring POS.

Most tailoring software is a standalone point of sale that does not talk to your accounts. Tailorline is built on Odoo, so orders, invoicing and payments live in the same system as your books. The measurement slip, the production board and the invoice are no longer three separate things in three separate places.

That connection means fewer lost slips, no whiteboard production board, and numbers that always agree. It also means the system can grow, adding purchasing, inventory or reporting when you need them. Read how we set it up for a UAE tailoring house in our [tailoring ERP case study](https://tijaratech.ae/tailoring-erp-case-study-uae/).

		Getting started

## How we get your shop set up.

			- **We look at your shop**How you take measurements, manage orders and handle payments today, so the system matches your counter and your floor rather than a generic retail tool.

			- **We set it up**Tailorline is configured for your garments, fabrics and workflow, with the stages your shop actually uses.

			- **We bring your data across**Your customers and their measurement profiles are ready to use from day one, so nothing is lost in the move.

			- **We train your team**The counter, the production floor and the office are shown how it works, in plain terms, so it gets used rather than avoided.

			- **We go live and stay on**We support you after launch and adjust the system as your shop grows and adds work.

		Compare

## Tailorline vs a standalone tailoring POS.

Where an Odoo based system pulls ahead of a till that only takes payments.

| What matters | Tailorline | Standalone tailoring POS |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Customer measurements | Stored and recalled per customer | Often basic or on paper |
| Production tracking | Live stage on every order | Limited or none |
| Connects to accounting | Yes, built on Odoo | Usually a separate system |
| Invoicing and payments | In the same flow | Often exported by hand |
| Grows into a full ERP | Yes, add inventory and purchasing | No |
| Best for | A shop that wants one connected system | A counter till and little else |

Technical detail

## How Tailorline actually works

- **Three screens to take an order.** Customer, garment, price. The counter raises the order, captures measurements and takes the deposit without leaving the flow or needing an accounting login.
- **Six garment types out of the box.** Kandura and dishdasha, abaya and bisht, suit, shirt, trouser, plus a custom measurement set for anything else. Each type brings up its own measurement fields against a labelled technical drawing.
- **Measurements by voice, tap or sketch.** Dictate them while the tape is still on the customer, adjust with plus and minus, or draw an alteration directly onto the drawing. A completion bar shows what is still missing.
- **Measurement profiles persist.** The profile stays with the customer for the next order, and every member of a family gets their own job card and measurements under a single order and bill.
- **Arabic, English and Hindi.** Arabic is full right-to-left throughout, including stage names, garment types, error messages and screen-reader tooltips, not translated labels on a left-to-right layout. Switching language changes only that operator’s screen.
- **Four roles, drawn where a shop draws them.** Counter, tailor, manager and owner. A tailor never reaches the till; a receptionist never reaches the ledger or sees margin, cost per metre, or anyone else’s performance.
- **Fabric variance.** Every job card records metres estimated at intake against metres the tailor actually used. The gap, per fabric and per month, is the margin that otherwise disappears unrecorded.
- **Performance by garment, not just by person.** Average cycle time and on-time rate broken down by garment type, because a tailor quick on kanduras is not automatically quick on suits. Overdue work is attributed to whoever holds it, at the stage it stalled.
- **Quality and appointments.** Pass rate by checkpoint and inspector with defects recorded against the item that failed, and fitting attendance with a reason captured for every no-show.
- **Built for one hand.** The same screens rebuilt for narrow widths rather than a cut-down mobile version: lists become cards, every value sits against its own label, and nothing scrolls sideways in either script.
